Taking Pictures of Clothes

Dear Readers,

Sometime ago my Sister came up with a great idea to take pictures of her clothes. We found that when you look in the mirror it is sometimes deceiving or harder to tell if your outfit is fashion forward or a fashion faux pas. Well, my Sister discovered that taking a photo of yourself in the clothing would give you the answer to your fashion questions. Taking a picture of outfits or combinations that look nice together helps you remember what to wear and what not to wear.

-When getting dressed--or the night before--give yourself a few extra minutes to snap a picture of what you have put together. Review the photograph and I promise you will see what's hot and what's not.

-During your weekend, go through your closet and pair clothes that you think make nice outfits. After that, snap some photos of the outfits.

Don't just throw the pictures (pics) of the clothes away, keep them. The pics will help you throughout the current season. The pics can be used as aides when packing for a trip, getting dressed in a hurry for work, etc.

Let us know how it works out for you...

For Styling Ideas, I Recommend Television

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you are still a TailorMadeByMandK fan!

Anyhue, I just wanted to give everyone some ways to find styling ideas. I recommend that you check out some of the fashion-related shows that come on primetime tv because believe it or not, you can get some great tips.

I enjoy watching:

-Project Runway: http://www.bravotv.com/project-runway

-The Rachel Zoe Project: http://www.bravotv.com/project-runway

-What Not To Wear: http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/whatnottowear/whatnottowear.html

-How Do I Look? : http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/whatnottowear/whatnottowear.html

And there are many others...

I find that these shows sometimes help us to gain some answers that we have related to colors, patterns, textures, pairing, shoes, etc. I just wanted to give my two cents so that you can be fabulous! (and remember don't be afraid to be a little daring, meow!)
